Menu is EXTREMELY limited. Mostly batter fried and sugared foods. Grilled chicken, by request, was like sawing wood. It's NOT a low carb and regular meat lover's place. Stairs to upper dining area is dangerous. Do request first floor if interested. Staff, however, are very friendly people. Tipping is just for service, not for the food.
Great wait person. Biscuits are awesome. I would go there just for the buscuits.
I booked the Library for a corporate mid day event after finding it a challenge to find a nicer location for a meeting with 10—20 people. They make the whole experience easy and I was impressed with the food, ambiance, and especially the staff. Highly recommend and I'll be back again when I'm in town next.
The food was delicious and enjoyable. While everything came out fast, the wait staff seemed rushed and didn't really have time to explain things if you had questions. Overall I enjoyed the experience. The main down side was that brunch had a dj which made it hard to hear.
We are going back for brunch and booze because we didn't love lunch. I loved the collard greens, the biscuits and the corn bread was good. But the Nashville Hot wasn't hot at all, imo, although flavorful. And the fried half chicken was bland for my taste. We didn't complain, there was nothing wrong, it just wasn't for us. My fiancé is an amazing cook. He's a tough act to follow. We will be back for breakfast because watching those plates go by — we were envious.
