Unfortunately, there are several different cooks and the taste and quality can vary on the day depending on the cook. I got the mushroom risotto and you come in with expectations on what it's going to be because risotto is risotto regardless of where you go. Not this time. I used to go to The Good Steer for the Cheese Dream with a good friend of mine, but since that’s closed, we came to Karvers for a burger. I got the bacon cheeseburger. It came with a soup or salad, coleslaw, and fries. The coleslaw wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was great. No 1:1 replacement for my beloved Cheese Dream, but still good regardless. I don’t know if Karvers will become the new tradition, but we did enjoy it. The end.
