While some dishes were close to outstanding (filet, venison), others such as lobster fried rice were pretty bland. The place wasn't super busy and it seemed to be well staffed. However, the service was spotty as our waiter forgot to bring ordered items on two separate occasions.

The food was way overpriced (coming from two native Manhattanites) and it took 90 minutes for our main courses to arrive, but the biggest issue was that the venison made my husband violently ill. So ill that we had to pull over on the way home because he started heaving on the dashboard while driving. This place has amazing reviews, so it must usually do well, but for us this was a disaster so we won't be back.

After that they were on top of it and we enjoyed the rest of our meal.

The bartenders Ozzy and Carlos were excellent and super attentive. The pour for the wine and bourbon we ordered was plentiful. We ordered the goat cheese toast and slab bacon salad which were both delicious.
