In Shirley, there aren't many choices for Japanese cuisine, so Okeno Sushi stands out as a non-Hibachi sushi restaurant. I took my client there for lunch today. The interior is fairly compact, with a long narrow hallway, and there's a simple arrangement of tables and chairs along the right wall, which may not accommodate large groups well. We ordered a few different types of sushi including salmon avocado rolls. About a dozen pieces (half our order) of the salmon were too fatty some even the skin attached (see photo). View all feedback.

Love this place. It's a little small so I usually do take away, but the food is always amazing. I'll keep coming back.

Ok, I've been coming to this place for a few years now and can definitely say they've always been so delicious. Their food tastes fresh and clean. Like not too heavy on the belly. The employees are also great.
