Was D J at Mamoun's a mag?
I've been coming to this restaurant for nearly 10 years, and I believe that speaks volumes. They possibly have the best hummus and definitely the finest Baba Ghanouj you'll find anywhere. The falafel is incredible too. I often order the Bourani and Tawouk, but honestly, I’ve never had a single dish here that wasn’t outstanding. What K H dislikes about Mamoun's:
they cater to a specific group of people let’s just say that POC is not on that list. very rude, wants you out of the restaurant before you could even say hello. i honestly don’t know how they’re still in business… would not recommend. View all feedback.
Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I got the combo vegetarian plate. Best stuffed grape leaves I’ve ever had! Excellent hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, a generous portion of warm pita halves, and a chopped salad. I’m definitely going back for more!
The food is so authentic and delicious. My favorite is the kafta-felfel pita sandwich with a piece of homemade baklava for dessert.
