Delicious food! Wine, meat and pulpo were fantastic. Anchovies were absolutely delicious. We will back for more!

I was recommended this place by a local from La Coruña, so i decided to make a reservation and take the family for lunch. We arrived to see that our table in the outside terrace had been given away and we were given a table instead. We were three families in families in told... My parents, my bother and his family and myself with my wife and daughter 9 in Total before we began to order, I asked the waitress if we could open three accounts so that each family could pay their own consumption...... WELL, this caused a problem from the off... it resulted in such a problem for the staff to handles. From their we were looked at funny, we were spoken about blatently in front of us and there was no attempted to make our time there an enjoyable one. I cant help think that this restaurant enjoys having visiting tourists. It is not liked I had asked for gold. This place deserves much more of a rating, but the staff has sadly left this little place down. I would recommend the octopus.... The best I have had in a while and the omelette de Betanzos. Excellent. As I was visiting family in La Coruña we left feeling bitter of the whole experince. Even though we left spending €150 as a group, so not a bad days work for them.

The iconic Betanzos omelette they serve is the main reason to go. Visually, it is not particularly appealing but the taste is wonderful. Loose and a bit runny, yes. The lower layer with crunchy potato gives it an overall unique taste and texture!

We ordered their famous Tortilla which is egg omelet with potatoes. Tradition in the near by town is not to over cook the egg. It must be a little running inside. It was very tasty. Next we had the most tender roast beef on a pan to share between 3 people. The meat was sprinkled with sea salt and sitting in a pan of beef broth. Great with a local red wine. The service and ambience was wonderful.

The fish dishes were excellent. Very tasty and perfectly cooked. The service was very strange. We never saw one facial expression from anyone. They showed no interest and seemed to be bored.
