They suggested the "local fish Chinese course" made with seasonal local fish, so I ordered it. At first, I was hesitant about Chinese food, but it was surprisingly delicious! The fish tempura was especially tasty and the combination with soup and vegetables was just right. The restaurant is located along a main street on the way from Amanohashidate Station to Amanohashidate Cable Car station (on the left side, not towards the shrine's torii gate. It is a building that looks like a ryokan). I often come to this area and usually head straight to the cable car station through the shrine's grounds, so I often end up eating at the restaurants around the station. However, I was able to have a proper meal here without the touristy feel. I would love to visit again.

Since it's a tourist area, I honestly didn't have high expectations, but the fish was fresh and the portion was generous, so I'm very satisfied! It's a shame that there are few lunch menu options due to the location, but I heard there are a la carte options available at night, so I definitely want to try it next time. I think the price for this quality and quantity is reasonable.

In particular, the local fish sashimi and nigiri sushi are as fresh and skillfully prepared as those in upscale sushi restaurants in the city. The dashimaki tamago is also exceptional, with a fluffy texture and rich dashi flavor that rivals that of high-end establishments. The attentive service and reasonable prices make this restaurant a must-visit for sure.
