While normally closed on Sundays, the restaurant is open on days when the variety show is held. There are many hidden menu items that are not listed on the menu or in the "recommended for today" section. The fried burdock root, perfect as a beer snack, and the tuna skewers (one of the hidden menu items) are recommended. The restaurant also sponsors the annual "Tomo no yube concert" held in March at the Nishi-Shirai Complex Center.
