They are open from 10am to 4pm, but they may close early if they sell out. As the restaurant is quite popular, it is highly recommended to make a reservation by phone if possible. The takoyaki, priced at 120 yen for 3 skewers, is made in front of you and the dough is chewy, possibly due to being stored in a steaming machine. The ingredients include large pieces of octopus, red ginger, and tempura crumbs. The addictive sweet and spicy sauce is the highlight…! They generously coat the skewers with sauce, and I found the taste so delicious that I could easily eat 10 skewers by myself. They also sell bonito flakes and mayonnaise for 30 yen each at the counter, but I recommend trying the sauce alone first. They also offer taiyaki, with choices of red bean paste or cream fillings, and the dough is fluffy and slightly chewy. It's definitely worth a visit, so why not stop by when you're in Iwanuma?
