I had been wanting to visit this restaurant and happened to come across it while searching for a laundromat. The young and trendy staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. They seemed to be knowledgeable about vegan options and mentioned that currently, only the sorbets are vegan. However, they did mention that they plan to introduce coconut-based vegan ice cream flavors in the future. I didn't try the banana or riceberry flavors that had been recommended by other customers, as they turned out not to be vegan. Despite this confusion, I did try two delicious sorbet flavors - yuzu and boozy umeshu. Although I was initially disappointed by the lack of creamy vegan options, I would still recommend trying their unique and interesting sorbets.
I first discovered their sorbets at a pop-up market in Chiang Rai. The staff member there was very helpful, the options were clearly labeled, and she made sure to check that the cones were free of milk and egg. When we visited the store, there were options with a "V" label for vegan, but the staff member was not clear on which flavors were actually vegan. In fact, she even said a flavor I had tried before was not vegan, despite it being labeled as vegan at the market and having a "V" next to it in the store. It's unclear if this was due to a language barrier or lack of training. However, all the flavors we sampled were delicious and unique, such as lychee and rose. #Veganuary.
The owner of this establishment was incredibly friendly and allows you to sample all the flavors. There are plenty of options to choose from and everything is delicious!
It had vegan options of icecream. I had the riceberry and the coconut with pandan and loved it. Good price. I payed 55 bhat for 2 scoops.
