Sake Recipe
To make this sake recipe, you'll need a quality rice, water, koji rice, and patience. The first step is to wash the rice thoroughly, as this will help remove excess starch. Then, steam the rice until it's soft and cooked through. Next, mix in the koji rice, which will help convert the starches into sugars during fermentation.
Once the rice and koji are mixed together, it's time to let it sit and ferment. This part requires the most patience, as the mixture needs time to transform into sake. Keep it in a warm, dark place and wait for the magic to happen.
As the sake ferments, you'll start to notice a sweet aroma filling the air. This is when you know it's almost ready. Once it's reached the desired flavor, strain out the solids and bottle up the liquid. And voila, you have homemade sake just like I used to make for my daughter when she was just a little baby.
