Huge meals! None of us could finish! I had the chicken schnitzel and it was delicious- the mushroom sauce was some of the best I've ever had! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere fantastic. Best country pub around! View all feedback.

I waited over an hour and a half for our meals to be served. The steak was overcooked and dry, despite being ordered medium. The meat platter was just average and lacked seasoning. The salad was also mediocre and had too much dressing. Go to the Meringandan Pub especially when you are hungry. This place is so popular you best book ahead. They have an extensive menu that caters for all tastes. The food is great and plentiful. You may not be able to finish you meal. Make a booking and when you arrive, order your meal, grab a drink and you won't have to wait long for your meal. Highly recommend their rib on the bone. Great place to celebrate birthdays or occasion. A whole lot of fun!

Visited with friends on a Friday night, very popular so be sure to book ahead. Good value very generous servings. Staff very friendly

Booked a table for 8 last a couple of days previously only to find that our booking had been lost and no tables were available. After standing around for 10 minutes we were given one of the booked tables in the hope this would be vacated by the time the next booking arrived. Being a Saturday night the venue was extremely busy however service was reasonably prompt. When the meals with vegetables arrived at our table, the vegetables were either cold or barely luke warm, while the meat and chips were nice and hot. I commented to the waiter however no one appeared to rectify the problem or apologise. Needless to say the cold vegetables were left on all the plates. Towards the end of our meal, the new booking arrived and the diners stood nearby waiting for us to vacate the table so we felt rushed. This as a disappointing way to celebrate a birthday and I will avoid dining there on a Saturday or any other busy night.
