Feedback
This vegan restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing a blend of culinary successes and shortcomings. While some patrons praise the fresh, flavorful dishes and creative cocktails, others point to unfriendly service and underwhelming desserts. Signature offerings like spring rolls and rice cakes receive enthusiastic endorsements, although some dish presentations, such as a frozen cheesecake, leave diners perplexed. The ambiance is frequently described as cozy and inviting, particularly the charming patio. Despite the varying opinions, many agree that this spot is a worthy destination for vegan cuisine, with standout flavors and a diverse menu that appeals to both vegans and omnivores alike.
Ridiculously long wait time for server to tend to patrons. Several tables were actively waving for attention. Table next to us finally had to stand up to ask server to bring his meal, which had been waiting on the kitchen bar for quite some time. I’m sure his food was cold. Ironically, when server did come by the tables she was anxious to take away plates even though it was obvious that people were still eating.
I had a pleasant experience dining on modern Vietnamese cuisine at this restaurant. The dishes were a refreshing departure from the usual bowl of pho. The presentation was excellent and the food was delicious.
We ordered a variety of appetizers and main dishes for our party of 6. Everything was delicious, tasted genuine, and was not too spicy for those who are sensitive to heat. As someone who is well-versed in Southeast Asian cuisine, I really enjoyed the use of authentic spices in the dishes. The service was also good, with the server consistently checking in to refill our teapot. We will definitely be returning in the future!
This place is absolutely fantastic! The dishes are beautifully crafted and taste amazing — I tried all the appetizers with my friends. It completely challenges any biases you might have about vegetarian food and made me wish there were more options like this. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Vancouver!
So this place is AMAZING. We sat outside on the patio and it was really pleasant. We ordered only appetizers Coconut rice cakes daikon cakes (fried with egg, probably the only non Vegan thing) various salads cassava fries spring rolls lettuce wrap Everything is mind blowingly tasty and innovative. In particular: the coconut rice cakes and daikon cakes were really amazing and the flavors really stand out. They are crunchy in just the right way, still light not too much batter. My family normally doesn't eat vegan and we only did so because a vegetarian friend was in town, but we are soo glad we discovered it and will be back for sure !!!
