Feedback
Deep Lagoon offers a diverse menu that appeals to seafood lovers and casual diners alike. While some guests have praised the attentive service and enjoyable ambiance, others have criticized the quality of the food and the inconsistency in service speed. The oysters and fresh fish dishes often receive high marks, yet certain lunch options lack excitement and are overpriced. Noise levels can detract from the dining experience, particularly during busy evenings. Despite these discrepancies, many patrons appreciate the inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and delectable desserts, making it a potential go-to for special occasions.
Quality of food mediocre at best. Prices have sky-rocketed but value has not. Happy Hour small plates offered much more off season. Very limited. Noise level very high. Wait staff did all they could. Would not go back.
Once again, Deep Lagoon did not disappoint. Our granddaughter and friend had a great time at one of their favorite restaurants in Naples. The service was exceptional, as always. The food was incredible, and even though I had to take my grouper home because I was too full to finish it, it made for an excellent lunch the next day.
The triple tail fish and chips at Deep Lagoon Seafood are amazing! The service was decent, however, we did have to wait for our bread until after our entrees were served. The portion of French fries was disappointingly small, as it always seems to be at this restaurant. In comparison, Pinchers, the sister restaurant, offers a much larger portion of freshly cut fries. It would be great if Pinchers had the triple tail fish and chips, or if Deep Lagoon served Pinchers' fries.
My wife and I have been dining at Deep Lagoon for the past two years, approximately 6 times. Last night, we went with some friends. We were seated near the bar on the street side at a small table for 4. Despite making a reservation through Open Table, we did not get a good table or booth. The noise from the bar and the college basketball games on the TV made it difficult to have a conversation or enjoy our meal. The service was slow and we never received the bread we asked for. The oysters were just okay, and my swordfish Napoleon was not good. I have had the same dish before and it was fresh and well-prepared, but this time it did not meet my expectations.
Our server was very pleasant. However, he did fail to bring us bread. We had to ask the host for some, and we asked for extra dressing for our salad, because it was hardly any on it, and we never received that either. The food was good though and the atmosphere was also very nice.
