We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the scallops were fantastic (both were on the specials menu), and the cheeseburger was delicious, especially with the pretzel roll. Just a heads up, they automatically put mayo on the burgers, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan. The homemade tables added to the cozy atmosphere. The wine pours were standard and precise. My all-time favorite restaurant in Murphys. So sad that they had to close due to owners' severe health problems. As a local, my family ate here two-three times a week. The lunch menu was creative and flavors out of this world... the Reuben, burger, fish n' chips, and daily specials could not be matched. Vicente, their evening chef, would create mouth watering entrees that kept their customers happy and satisfied. Always loved their attention to providing vegan and vegetarian options that were creative and delectable. The staff was always friendly, approachable, and timely. Their ambiance was lovely... like coming home to a house full of friends. Well-run, clean, artsy, and fun. I've been missing them for months.
I ordered lunch and the waitress recommended trying the kid-sized fish and chips. We didn't want a large meal, and it was perfect. The service was excellent. This meal was for lunch and the price per person was $10-20.
We absolutely loved everything we ordered! From the salmon to the steak to the kids menu options, everything was delicious. We were thoroughly impressed with every dish. The service was excellent. We dined in for dinner and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30.
Stopped by on a Monday afternoon for lunch. No wait so we had quick service, with that being said, the service was great! Our gal was cheerful, helpful and fast. Each course came out in a timely fashion, not to quick and not to slow... out of all places so far inland we decided to get the soup of the day, calamari, salad and fish n chips. We felt it being risky questioning how fresh the sea food could be, but when we got it we were so pleased to greet our warm, fresh food! The fish was perfectly fried, super flakey and cook with perfection. Calamari, salad and soup were also just as perfect! A bit pricey for lunch but considering what we ordered and it being a nice treat we enjoy every moment there. Weather was perfect so we hung out at the patio for some time even after eating. We noticed in the background they were closing up but not once were we bothered to leave, they allowed us to hang out as long as we wanted. Of course we were polite and decided to leave to hit up the next ice cream parlor a few doors down... Ha see next review! Highly recommend getting your dessert there.
Don't know where to start! Lilly Pad Pinot Gris was off the hook! I have the pulled pork wrap with salad. My mom had the Ruben with fries. The fries were thick with thick ground sea salt, the wrap was grilled and thrbpockeled onions set it off perfectly!!!!! Our new favorite!! Waitress was a doll!!!!
