Was Wendy Crespo at V Restaurant a mag?
I always love the warm, cozy atmosphere of this restaurant on a chilly winter evening. The generous portions of prime rib and rack of lamb were absolutely delicious. The grilled romaine salad and Jack Daniels ice cream for dessert were just as impressive. Thank you for making it a memorable holiday meal for my son and me. View all feedback.
What Nick Love dislikes about V Restaurant:
To be honest, we were disappointed. We ordered the Prime New York steak and the Salmon Bernaise, but both dishes were lacking in seasoning. The polenta cake had a gritty texture, and the salmon could have used a bit less cooking time. On the positive side, the truffle fries were fantastic! For drinks, the espresso martini was decent, but the hot toddy seemed like it was made with minimal effort. I was expecting more... View all feedback.
We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!

Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outside flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. Our waitress managed not to make both dishes hot, but to keep all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and incredible. We'll be back.
The food was enjoyable, but the upscale dinner experience didn’t fully meet the expectations set by the hype. That said, it’s important to mention that California tends to have a more relaxed dining environment.
The food was amazing—those Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had! The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the flies; it seemed like there wasn't a strong effort to tackle that problem.
