Caesar salad in an Italian restaurant? Served with dark brown, stone hard salty anchovies and an indistinguishable mayo sauce. A few tiny bits of bacon. Worst salad I've had in a while. We struggled to get attention of the waitress and the place was nearly empty. Shame. It is such a great location.

I met a business colleague for lunch here and the place was empty, surprisingly the rest of the area was bustling with vibe and activity. The service was good but the menu sparse and 2 of the specials were not available... hello ? Why chalk board them if they are not available ? It was lunch time at 12.00 so this tells you something. Overpriced and what was served was tasteless and a complete waste of money. The wine list however was excellent and that is what I rated you poor instead of terrible.Sorry guys, cannot ever recommend and won't be back ever.

Really nice and friendly and great for taking clients for a bite to eat. Large share plate and hearty bowls of pasta. Great staff that recommend and understand their dishes.

By a long way this is the best cafe in Melbourne. The coffee, food and service is phenomenal. The chilli scramble eggs the best I’ve had and the muscle breakfast is a favourite as well. The coffee is at a whole new level. The Barista is a genius. I always come here without fail when I’m in Melbourne. Cafe Intimo is consistently of the highest quality . I can’t recommend enough.

Late lunch on the spur of the moment. Boss picked us without fail. Beer, wine, linguini, risotto. All suberb. Sweet prawns. Baby seafood was lovely and plentiful. Just lovely.
