The portions were generous as well. This is now our favorite Chinese takeout spot.

Absolutely appalling service. We ordered a £24+ order through their website at 17:06 and put in a delivery request for 19:30. At 20:00 I called the shop after 5... read more Absolutely appalling service. We ordered a £24+ order through their website at 17:06 and put in a delivery request for 19:30. At 20:00 I called the shop after 51 attempts (granted its a busy night I spoke to a lady called ‘Lee’ asking when could we expect our order, she knew straight away our address and said it will be 30 minutes. She laughed it was busy, she spoke to other people whilst I was talking and was flapping because you could hear the chaos in the kitchen. At 21:00 we called AGAIN and they said it was out for delivery. At 21:28 the delivery man called us but from the shop!? He said the food was being done now! When we asked to speak to the woman we spoke to originally we said forget the order she then LIED AGAIN and said it was already out for delivery!!! My husband said he would go directly to the shop for a refund. Wen he arrived the food was ready, and she offered something free or something next time we explained we wouldn’t be using them again. She said “you’re lucky your getting food” she said she would process the refund. He asked for this in writing but she gave her word it would be done. She gave us the order and he left. Getting home with the COLD food at 10:15pm (we ordered extra early at 5pm!! We brought extra for my son who went without and went to bed! The food was cold, and we don’t enjoy reheated food so a lot was wasted!! I called the shop and asked to speak to the manager who apparently doesn’t speak English so couldn’t speak to him, so I spoke to Lee again. I asked if the refund had been process she said no later because she’s busy. She said it would be for £7... my husband came on the phone and explained this was not agreed at the shop!! She was very rude, and said she wouldn’t do the refund, my husband said he will return the food and would come to the shop for the full refund... she put the phone down and won’t answer!!!! Absolutely terrible!!! And spent a whole evening on New Year’s Eve trying to chase up a Chinese takeaway order!!!! Appalling service! Granted it’s NYE and will be busy that’s why we ordered early... and we’re happy to go for 2 hour wait delivery slot !! NOT 5+ HOURS with appalling service and cold food!!! WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.

The crispy wont... read more We have been frequenting this takeaway for several years without any issues, but this week we ordered two dishes that were completely different. The crispy wontons, which used to be light and delicious, are now heavy, doughy, and burnt. When we called to inquire, we were informed that they had changed the pastry to a cheaper type. Additionally, the seaweed, which used to be light and dry, was now heavier and greasy. It seems like they are cutting costs at the expense of quality and taste. We have decided not to return as we preferred the way their dishes were before.
