I have gone to this location before, but lately (tonight and last week) the wait time is long for the food to arrive, and it's not crowded so I believe there is a new cook. O top of slow food delivery, the bar tender is also slow making drinks. The watress told us that he was tied up helping other people and it had been 10 minutes since we ordered our drinks and maybe 5 other tables were in the restaurant. Tonight, I go the New Orleans tilapia and the middle of the fish was almost raw. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said she would send over the manager. The manager arrived about 8 10 minutes later. She says there was a new cook and she would let them know about the fish. There was no mention of making me a new fully cooked piece, and to be fair, I didn't ask for one. The bad meal cost over $15. so I was hoping she would comp it. When I got the bill she did take off 10% so it was a like a 1/3 off. On a positive note, the waitress was really attentive and nice and the salad bar was very fresh, so if you go for this alone, I say yes! However, I will not be going back until they can speed things up a bit in the kitchen and bar.
Everything was overcooked. Mozzarella Sticks with all the cheese melted out. Burger that was well done with crunchy edges. Salmon that the non-skin side had a crust. Ridiculous wait times for service. Dishes from other guests everywhere on other tables. Oi. No wonder no one is ever at this location.
I was there yesterday with my children. our selections were delicious. I had the bourbon lachs and my daughter had the garnel fetters alfredo. my son had the classic burger and pommes. Everything's good. we also had a good service. I know that many Rudy nuns are closed. I hope they'll jump back. I wonder if covid has helped to destroy their chain where they had to close steadfast. I always liked her to eat.
Makayla was our server. we sat within minutes. our server was patient as we have penetrated the menu. we have the two for $24 meal deal. the chicken cakes were made exactly right and the endless salatbar was a hit. the Spinach dip was delicious and the chips and the dip were served beautiful and warm. all restaurants suffer with short employees. for those they had, the service was great and the delivery of food came to a decent time from the time of ordering. we're coming back.
Used to be the best place for salad bar. Have been twice in the past 2 weeks with similar results. Salad was yellow and brown, took forever to even get seated. Obviously no manager present. Employees were openly fighting and threatening each other. Waitress had a customer go behind the bar to get their own drink and same customer was in and out of the kitchen with his gym shorts and safety vest on. Will never go back!
