They host trivia nights that you can sign up for ahead of time, and there are plenty of board games, dartboards, and a pool table available. There’s a diverse selection of cocktails and high-quality local beers on tap, plus a daily extended happy hour that includes complimentary floorless popcorn. They also offer some delightful alcohol-free options. Occasionally, the pub hosts live music and events, and it features a “Darts Series” in the back, allowing multiple games to happen simultaneously in a safe and relaxed atmosphere—no need to worry about bumping into anyone while enjoying a drink and a bite. For sports fans, there’s a television to catch the game. The Albatross, the first bar to open in Berkeley, has a rich history and is now proudly owned by two amazing women.
I️ love Albatross pub for many reasons, they have a great selection of beers and cider on tap, and also have fine liquor as well. They do not serve food in the pub besides a popcorn machine and crackers that’s it, but they allow you to bring your own so you can walk across the street or have your food delivered to you. This is a board game friendly place if you come on a weeknight evening you are able to get as many table tops needed to play as many games as you want. They have darts and a pool tables as well. Ive been here a few times and have always been impressed! The bar staff is friendly and attentive, drinks are poured quickly and heavy! With multiple tv's, ample seating, two pool tables, dartboards, and large portions of bar food, this dive bar is an instant classic! One star off because the food could be tastier, but after a few drinks, who cares!

What an impressive pub! It has a fantastic atmosphere, a great selection of beers, and very friendly staff. The happy hour perks, like complimentary popcorn, are a nice touch too. They also offer darts, pool, and board games for added fun. Prices are quite reasonable, but keep in mind that they only accept cash; however, there is an ATM at the front.
