They forgot to add... read more It's been ages since I visited a Firehouse Subs, so I was really looking forward to my order today. I got a sub with lettuce, but guess what? They forgot to add it! Seriously, how hard can it be? Whether you tell them in person or write it down, it seems like fast food workers can't get anything right these days—except for taking your money, of course. It feels like you need a college degree just to flip a burger now; it’s getting ridiculous. The Country Clubs in Woodside seem to be the only places in Aiken worth dining at, as they appear to actually do their jobs. Overall, the food service industry in America seems to be in decline. Another one bites the dust.

I now dine here regularly and would recommend it to others—just avoid the chili hot dogs. Those were the worst I've had: poor quality, overcooked hot dogs topped with bland, plain ground beef instead of a proper chili. It's disappointing. I also find it somewhat disrespectful for the restaurant to offer a discount to veterans without fully recognizing the sacrifices made. Many can wear a uniform, but only a few truly earn it. Honestly, it would be better not to offer a discount at all than to do so without genuine respect.

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich along with chili cheese fries, and everything was amazing. Our waitress was very friendly and consistently checked on us during our meal. We'll definitely be back soon!
