We ordered drinks which arrived quickly, but unfortunately our server, Mike, disappea... read more We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were seated promptly. We ordered drinks which arrived quickly, but unfortunately our server, Mike, disappeared for over 20 minutes. Our appetizers came, but I had to ask for extra dressing for my salad, which was only brought after our entrees arrived. We waited a while for our entrees and were finally given some cold and stale bread. To make matters worse, my date received the wrong entree. After trying to flag down our server, we waited another 15-20 minutes for him to return. The manager eventually came over, apologized, and offered to take the incorrect meal off our bill, as well as provide us with a complimentary dessert. Despite these gestures, the experience was already tainted and we decided to ask for the check. We also had a birthday reward and loyalty reward as wine club members, but these were forgotten by our server. We have dined here before and enjoyed the food and service, but this visit did not meet our expectations, with the service being the major issue.

Is a great choice for a first date, and very family oriented environment. Just know, it is a little on the expensive side, but very much worth it. Props to the server, because he asked if any of us had allergies. I have never been asked that, but I appreciate it immensely.

I took advantage of Miami Spice offer to visit res... read more Casa Faena Restaurant is one of the newest dining experiences in our area and it is also one of the our best. I took advantage of Miami Spice offer to visit restaurant. The food and ambiance were great. The restaurant was empty when we got there even though it was a Sunday evening. There were a couple of parties that joined us afterwards. The place is small but service was good. The server recommended an excellent wine and we enjoyed the Miami Spice offerings that they had for us. I would definitely love to return and soon. There are other restaurants and activities to do at the district. I look forward to my return.
