Right when we entered the place one kind waiter received us and had us sea... read more I recently moved with my wife to Zug. We had some friends visiting us from Australia. Right when we entered the place one kind waiter received us and had us seated. So far so good. Then we hear the manager complaining to his waiter in a totally rude way because he had us seated in a "booked" table (all in front of us). Tell me how you treat your employees and that should say a lot about the place. I'm sorry for the waiter, his instinct was to deliver a good service, something the manager of the place for sure doesn't understand or apply. Never going to step this place again.

Fantastic place!Huge bay windows in the upstairs dining room overlook Lake Zug and the mountains beyond. The dining room is elegant without being stuffy, and the food-- we had steaks in an herbed butter sauce-- was really superb.Service was top-notch, and I was particularly impressed by the owner, who welcomed us graciously and with obvious pride in his restaurant and cuisine. I felt like family.I'd give this six stars if TripAdvisor had six stars.
