We had lunch here, because our team also had a seminar in the same place. The dishes were very good, 3 different dishes and a salad bar (meat, fish and veggi). Prices were appropriate to consider the quality of food. Service was friendly and fast.

The cultural market is a restaurant during the weekday lunches and other day or nighttime hosts various theatres, concerts, music, plays, parties, social events and this room is also for groups/functions to rent. The main hall with stage is the dining room with high ceilings and columns. They also have several long benches under their covered terrace in beautiful weather. Their concept seems that their program for professional training and experience is certified for those seeking a career in the food/restaurant industry. The cultural market offers weekly lunches from 12 to 13:30. Meat and fish options are available at 19CHF, while vegetarian selections are 17CHF. Both options come with a selection of soup or salad and cut, fresh bread. During my visit I had the Cordon-Bleu, rosemary roasted potatoes, salad and bread for 19CHF. The quality of the food was exceptional and the taste. The staff was very friendly and thanked me for a visit when I left. It tends to be crowded at noon, but many tables are available for late lunch. Your menu includes hot/cold drinks, soda, tea and beer. There are fresh cut flowers on all tables and they offer newspapers, magazines for the convenience of guests. The restaurant accepts bar and noon checks. Bus 32/72 (Zwinglihaus) stops at the corner while tram 9/14 runs nearby. Check their website for daily lunch specialties. I will definitely return and recommend others.

Went this year (2019) and had a good meal. as with most food in zurich its not cheap, so you just have to live with it and judge the food and not the price. beautiful location and was nice to sit because the weather was nice. would return if back in the city

Wir haben unter den Arkaden gegessen, total fein und entspannt - und das mitten in Zürich! Immer gerne wieder. Man sollte sich vorher auf der Webseite informieren, was es zum Essen gibt, die Karte wechselt!

Die kulturellen Anlässe sind immer sehr schön und auch für Familien geeignet. Regelmässig finden Nachtessen zu einem bestimmten Thema statt, z. B. alles zum Thema Zwiebel, Ananas, Artischpcken, Mais oder Moules et Frittes, zu moderaten Preisen. Wir haben schon ein paar Mal teilgenommen, auch mit Kindern. Über Mittag unter der Woche gibt es auch tolle und günstige Menues. Sehr schön im Sommer, kann man draussen sitzen. Wird alles über ein Arbeitslosenarbeitsprogramm organisiert.
