We came with a larger group for an event including dinner. All service personnel was very friendly, attentive and helpful. A very special location with extraordinary ambience. All food and drinks tasted excellent. Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a Thumbs up...Thank FrankGeisler by clicking the button below. View all feedback.
What Oliver Ruppert doesn't like about Giesserei:
I was there for an event. There was an aperitif in the evening for the occasion, but unfortunately the price was not appropriate. The ambience of the rooms was also not appropriate for the occasion. It seemed rather unprofessional, as did the service, which was largely listless and unmotivated and rounded off the experience negatively. Too bad about the money. View all feedback.
Some time ago, this place has a really good kitchen. yesterday sitting there and seriously, that was money terrible was wasted. the chef has not yet understood how a vegetarian meal should look: it is not just a charge of vegetables on a plate, without taste or additional beside dishes in our case we have each decorated a whole flower cabbage, partly raw, at the tip, with some measly toppings of any kind. I felt honest like a **** in the garden. the cauliflower itself is already a bit hard to digest for certain people with tender, but this cruelty has overtaken it all. if this is the idea of the restaurants of creative vegetarian cooking, then they are seriously wrong. a never-experienced. and by the way: preorder a fix menu for 13 people, if their restaurant is empty anyway, others also opened to ask. facit: this crew has a hard time to return to business after Corona status.
They offered a vegan menu, but no longer at 12:15 and suggested I should take bacon instead. very average. has taken it very long to serve our booked group.
When we arrived, after waiting for a while, we were not shown to the table. Instead, we were told where the table was and we had to go there ourselves. A bit confusing as the service person also had to go in the same direction. If you remove the historical ambience, the food remains mediocrity at high prices. In our opinion, a completely overrated restaurant.
We had dinner in the restaurant and we were welcomed very friendly although we had no reservation. the personal provided for vegan options, even if they already have some in the menu. we were offered with wine choices help and they were all so friendly and friendly. eating was delicious and the ambiente exquisite!
Very great event location. You can still feel the foundry atmosphere.
