What Elsa Ponte dislikes about Gambrinus:
It was ok. Not expensive, good portions, friendly staff. I didn’t really like the cordon bleu, it was very dry, maybe overcooked? The rösti was also falling apart, it was basically just grated potato, and sometimes a bit too burnt. Not sure if it’s maybe supposed to be like that. The Kalb meat was delicious though! I also really liked the bouillon, just perfect after spending time in the cold. View all feedback.
Seit Jahren statte ich dem Gambrinus einen Besuch ab wenn ich in der Schweiz bin.Waehrschafte Schweizer Kueche ,grosse Portionen mit Suppe oder Salat.Wahr immer excellent freundliche Bedienung und fuer Zuerich guenstige Preise.Kann Man nur empfehlen...
Wollte eigentlich schon lange mal hier her kommen zum Essen. Nur eigentlich vom Eindruck von aussen. Echt toller Platz und köstliches Essen.
Ich gebe für das Lammfillet eine 10, Kartoffeln eine 9, Salat und Gemüse eine 7! Also Rating 9 overall, sehr gut.Master Tom Swiss, alias Thomas B.
Service super nice. I registered a visit for the three of us so made a reservation. At the beginning of the order I told the friendly and courteous staff (blond gentleman around 35 ; please make me happy. He and the kitchen succeeded completely. The tartare (25.50 is unparalleled, the beef is so fresh and tender and presented to perfection on the plate. A real culinary delight My companion preferred a Cordon Bleu (8.50 p.m. . I should also cost that. Wonderfully prepared and with lovely, slightly tangy cheese that showed when cut. We were all completely satisfied. There was also a small dessert included. Our bill with all the drinks and coffee 113.50 was actually way too cheap for Zurich, even if it is Langstrasse. We can only recommend the restaurant to anyone who comes to Zurich. Poor and rich Rotlicht and Mr. Bünzli have no fear of contact here.
