if they can exceed the price, this restaurant rewards them with what could be the best view of any restaurant in zürich. the kitchen is also very kreatiw and the restaurant itself is incredibly cozy in the roof floor of the hotel. the dinner menu has six labeled vegan items and the lunch menu has also covered them. What User doesn't like about La Muna:
the best at this restaurant is the cozy nautical/alpine interior design and architecture. eating is ok, but in any case the price cannot justify, no matter how much liquid nitrogen is used in its presentation. the service was overwhelming, we had to request a espresso twice before it was finally delivered. I spent a week in Switzerland, starting in Zermatt and then heading to Zurich after. This was by far, the best meal of my trip. The decor of the restaurant is absolutely exquisite, hats off to the interior designer. I have dined in many a restaurant around the world and this is up there with my favourite interiors of all time. Chalet living room vibes, just totally relaxed and beautifully warm lighting. I would move in tomorrow if I could. Next to the food and drink. Small cocktail list but delicious. I had a cocktail called the Barracuda (I think! and it was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The food was delicious, stunning flavours and I would have happily eaten all the dishes three times over. The fish was super fresh and the hot dishes sublime. And to top it all off, polished attentive service. I left a very happy customer.
Wunderbares Mittagessen mit großartigem Service und köstlichem Essen.
Unique design in the attic of the Hotel “La Reserve Eden au Lac”. The Peruvian cuisine of “La Muña” is extremely original and tasty. Especially in summer on the roof terrace “the place to be” in Zurich.
La Muna in Zurich, a rooftop Japanese/Peruvian restaurant, offers a cozy decor and good service, earning it a 3/5 rating. While the ambiance is inviting, the food, including the highlighted chicken bao, is deemed average and comes with a high price tag.
Good things first: The rooftop terrace is simply great. Despite being quite windy and a bit too cold for late July it was a really nice atmosphere overlooking the Lake of Zurich. But, unfortunately, the lunch experience was not comparable with the panorama. The single dishes are quite small, the overall choice limited (probably you get a wider menu for dinner...did not check... and despite the good quality the food is just overpriced. 30 CHF for a Miso soup or 50 CHF for a chicken gyoza is not justified... I would give 2 starts, an additional bonus star for the beautiful terrace.
