Great food and very nice staff in a hidden corner of centrum

The service is mediocre and the portions of the starters are ridiculously small! At 10pm we didn’t get the main course (there sinds 8pm) We decided to leave the place it was really not nice to wait that long with almost nothing in the stomach ! We had also to pay for for the main course which never came! This is theft Never again !
I come here regularly and the place has been getting better over the past 6-7 years. It's great value for money and I don't think you can get better food for this price in the greater Hague area. Staff is amazingly professional and friendly. Everyone I take to this place loves it, and for good reasons!
I don't do fine dining often, so this was a treat. We went for the round trip menu with wine arrangement. I'll start off by saying each of the wines we had (and there were five in total! I was definitely tipsy by the end! Was absolutely delicious and matched the food perfectly. We didn't know in advance how many courses we would get and after the third we thought, surely it's time for dessert now. But no, there was another course! It really was a feast for the tastebuds, and we definitely had an elegant sufficiency of food towards the end. I like that this fine dining establishment doesn't alter the food so that it becomes unrecognizable, they simply do all the seasoning, sauces and flavor combinations extremely well. I thoroughly enjoyed myself though the great company was ofcourse another factor that contributed to that. I should add that the restaurant is located on the waterside and from both the terras as well as upstairs you have a great view over the water.
