While I didn't order the schnitzel, all the dishes I did order were good and tasty. This includes the meatloaf, the herring, and the tomato soup. The service was good, and the owner is a real character. We even ate there twice. First review (2019): The one star is only justified because the Zingster Scheune was open on a Monday – most restaurants currently (February) have designated Monday and Tuesday as their days off, are either renovating, or are simply taking a long winter break. The salad served with the main courses was also quite tasty – hence the two stars overall (with reservations). Otherwise, the schnitzel seemed thawed. I cannot recommend it. The overpriced soups served as starters didn't help matters.
