What Gerlando Mancini doesn't like about Restaurant Ried:
This used to be one of the most authentic quality places in Zermatt. The original owners retired last year and it has now reopened for business. We didn't eat here yet, but our first (and impression is that the finer touches which made this...place perfect, are now totally missing. No eye for detail. We snow shoed up to Restaurant Ried in a heavy snowfall. Really friendly guys to greet us, delicious glühwein, the kids had fantastic chocolate ice cream/ apricot sorbet and apparently the best gerstensuppe my partner has ever had! Pretty small inside but I can imagine...it’s great on the terrace in Summer. Would have happily stayed for longer but we had a snowman to build! Highly recommend View all feedback.
