Very nice view of the Matterhorn from the restaurant. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. The tiramisu is homemade and is the best I have tasted so far. I love the mushroom soup.
We have been staying at the Hotel Metropol (or its sister hotel the Alfa) for 17 years. The Taugwalders and their excellent staff always make us feel so welcome. There is no better citation than the fact that we have recommended both hotels to so many of our friends.
Top hotel location, with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn mountain. Large and clean rooms, friendly and always helpful staff, also with advice on how to get around.
What can I say! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. This is truly an amazing hotel with the nicest staff I have ever come across. Anyone working at this hotel would always go the extra mile and be too delighted to help. Great location very close to ski lift (2-3 min walk). Cannot recommend enough, I will be back for sure!
Staff are amazing, rooms super clean, location near to central station and trains take you up to the mountains Highly recommend
