This hotel was... read more Our booking was handled via the Swiss Rail as part of a package that included the Glacier Express train trip, so we were not sure what to expect. This hotel was wonderful. Upon arrival, we got a complimentary upgrade to a two-story suite with balconys on each floor having direct views of the Matterhorn. Could it get any better? It did. They were helpful in every way. Places to eat, locations of various sites including the cog rail, best shopping, and snacks available all the time. We fell asleep to a view of the Matterhorn and when I woke up at 6:30 am, the lighting was even better on the Matterhorn. We stayed for two nights and the breakfasts were great. Really thoughtful in the selections. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Fresh yogurts and wonderful fresh fruit. And OH the fresh-baked breads, muffins, croissants, and rolls.They were all great. Look no further, this is the place to stay.
