This is my favorite pub in the world, and the food is simply amazing. I've never had a bad meal there. They even give our dogs cookies, making it their favorite spot too! View all feedback.
What Eva Hasselberg Eide doesn't like about The Tinners Arms:
My husband and I came here after a long walk along The coastal path and wanted to have something to eat.We sat down at a table out in the garden, and I went to ask for a menu.A lady from the staff told me they had a small kitchen, and that they simply couldn’t do walkers that evening. But there were plenty of nice places in St.Ives where we could have a meal !!! We were tired and hungry, and she suggested we could walk t... View all feedback.
Lovely pub, Great food. One of the reasons we keep coming back to this part of Cornwall!
Fanrastic pub in Zennor. Short distance from some fabulous coastal walks. The Tinners (aka Doom Bar) is delicious. Good, well priced food. Nachos were a hit with the kids. Friendly staff. Looks like a great quiz too on a Thursday night.
The best Sunday roast! Lovely, friendly staff, and great service. Also has lots of outdoor seating in good weather. 100% recommend The Tinners!
The food was lovely and really tasty Also the place had a cozy vibe and was warm and has a vintage look to it. The toilets wernt as good as the rest of the place. But men's toilets where decent. My food was amazing as you can see. Lovely fireplace.
So this review is to tell you to stay away from the secret treasure that is the Tinners Arms. You don't want to go here, definitely not , absolutely never ever. The Fish and Chips was fabulous especially the fish- locally caught, the drinks, I have it on very good authority from my very great friends, A locally made cider Grevedy ? and the Mermaid ale was amazing and very much appreciated. A big shout out to Bar Lady Sarah and Kitchen Lady Hannah for their excellent service, friendly chat and helpful natures. The Tinners Arms is not a large pub so it is very much a first come first serve basis so if you are doing the coastal walk from St Ives to Zennor the pub is a very welcome spot to rest and imbibe some lovely refreshments and enjoy some great food. The only downside was that we had to walk the 12km/ 7.4 miles to get there : Having said that the sights were amazing and the last view from the Zennor headland is really beautiful. Oh and we did get to see a couple of seals too. Thanks Sarah and Hannah hope to see you again sometime, Good to meet hubby too .
