The food was pretty good, the service was great and for Zeitz it´s pretty good. We arrived at 8 8:05pm. At the entrace it was stated that food is being served until 8:30. We were ignored for like five minutes, before the waiter acknowledged us. He then went to the kitchen to ask if we can still eat something. That already left a bad impression. We were then asked to take a seat, since food was still available. Since it is a restaurant known for Schnitzel we chose two Schnitzel. The side I wanted was already out, so I had to go with another type of potato. The Schnitzel itself was not bad, but the portion size was rather small. It's advertised that it's being served with a salad. The salad is literally just a leaf, half a slice of cucumber. That's honestly not a salad, just eye candy. I also feel like the sides are not enough or proportional with the Schnitzel. My partner had like five croquettes. My biggest complaint is that you have to pay extra for the sides, that's just misleading. You see the initial price thinking that it is quite affordable, just for the waiter to mention what sides you want, which adds like another 5€ to the final price. I've seen no other restaurant do that and I honestly don't understand how this is even a thing it's ridiculous. There are also way too many menu items that are similar to each other, which just makes it difficult to choose and it creates confusion due to the similarities. The atmosphere was not that good either, a big group of people were sitting close to us and they were extremely loud and unpleasant to be around. Very loud talking, laughing which definitely made it awkward and not enjoyable for us. Overall not a bad experience, but also not a good one, which honestly misses the point for a restaurant, which strives to be memorable. Not enough to warrant a re visit from us.

The schnitzel au... read more A very nice restaurant with incredibly good service! The servers were extremely fast, and we didn 't have to wait long for our drinks and food. The schnitzel au four with fried potatoes that I ordered was very good and plentiful. We were served by the owner herself; she was very friendly and cheerful, even though the restaurant was full and the staff clearly had a lot to do. I am completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend the Schnitzel Manufaktur! By the way, gar nicht is not written as one word!
