Quema certainly doesn’t look the part from the outside …. its exterior rather scruffy, its signage a bit naff, an unlikely setting for a fine dining restaurant. But the polished welcome smart interior soon cast doubts aside the meal went on to be really good. The amuse bouche was particularly outstanding a work of art as delicious as it looked. Follow up courses were also superb. Amazing value for the quality too accompanied by friendly, professional service. Great choice.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and though we did expect good quality (it is a MICHELIN recommended restaurant), it exceeds expectations. The food was fresh and light, very tasty and beautifully presented. You are given the choice of a small menu or full tasting menu, both of which include wine and are very reasonable priced. Value for money was excellent. I shall return next time in Zaragoza.
Eating at Quema was one of the highlights of our time in Spain. After a shaky start to the evening down to the front of house, we sat back and allowed ourselves to be spoiled, surprised and enchanted by the plates set in front of us. This is serious cooking by talented chefs, proud of their products and skill. Two came to speak to us about their dishes and we were presented with a signed Menu at the end of the meal. The passion about their food was evident. The dining room is quite minimalist but still inviting and a perfect setting for a special meal. Pricing was fair considering the quality of the dishes set before us and wine was charged by what we drank. A serious Michelin contender. If the front of house can improve, from taking reservations correctly, being knowledgeable about the food being served, providing correct cutlery to suit the dish, just polishing their act, etc Quema could become a destination restaurant.
Really nice food and excellent wines for a very good price! The service was also very good. I strongly advise a visit!
We hadn't booked but luckily they found a place for us, otherwise it was fully booked. We all went for the fixed price lunch at 19 Euros for three courses. This turned out to be a great choice. It also included a bottle of red wine which was of good quality. The gazpacho for a starter was one of the best I ever had. The main course of pork loin was very tender. Service was smooth with a regular supply of fresh bread. All in all our best meal on our 2-week trip in Aragon.

Amazing food presented in an imaginative way by highly professional and welcoming staff in a smallish room with a great view into the kitchen. The lunch menu represents excellent value for money!
Incredible tasting menu and excellent service. The price was unbelievable at 45 euro, I cannot see how they're making money on this! Get it in case it disappears!
Incredible experience. We went for the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The service was excellent and yet, the food was still getting all the attention. Experimental, full of flavour, great technique... It was quite an interactive menu that will bring you through memories and experiences. If I ever go again to Zaragoza I'll be happy thinking I would have a chance to experience this restaurant again.
