I loved my stay in the balcony house. Very accessible and easy walk from there to Stone Town. The staff is super helpful and can give you recommendations to visit the island. There is a kitchen where you can cook or make a coffee. Washing machine, balcony and other common rooms to relax. Nice room and clean house. I highly recommend it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Balcony House Zanzibar:
Amazing view from the upper balcony. Place is calm and there is AC. We had a room on the top of the stairs. It was clean and large. The entrance of the hostel is not easy to found but you can ask to the owner before to come. Not spectacular but good location if you stay in stone town. You can reach every interesting place by foot. View all feedback.
Balcony house was great for us! We enjoyed our time there. They leave our luggage there for 6 days free. When we came back because we had to extend our stay and move the rooms, they gave us a free upgrade to the best room they have. We were very satisfied with purity and space. It is a perfect place for backpackers or anyone who is on a budget and still wants a nice place to stay. It was close to everything we needed and very easy to find! We would stay there again if we made it back to Zanzibar
We were there three days. The room was spacious and clean. It is for a reasonable price in the center of Stone Town. There are beautiful terraces with sea views. The host was very helpful and organized for us few excursions, ordered taxi or boat. Breakfast is huge with lots of bread and a bit expensive. It was better for us to buy a bakery right in front of the hostel.
The Location in the town is perfect the House itself aint. The price for what you get is simply to high literally its just a bed in a big room, nothing else. Staff is friendly, but verrrrrrry slow.
The place is very quiet, with beautiful views of the sea and the exotic stone town. The host is very helpful and hospitable, the rooms are beautiful and clean, that is the icing on the cake. A good value for money. Very recommended
Nice budget accomodation in Stonetown. Walking distance to the beach and friendly owners. The beds were a bit not so comfortable and it has a sharing toilet and bathroom. It’s safe and not bad for a night or two stay.
