Started as a humble eatery for construction workers, Bicko's owners elevate classic Croatian fare to an amazing quality, starting with ingredients (one of the f... read more Started as a humble eatery for construction workers, Bicko's owners elevate classic Croatian fare to an amazing quality, starting with ingredients (one of the few places where you can actually eat a cockerel (google though I was swearing it is what male chickens are called), amazing lamb and a bunch of extremely rare to find dishes made out of lamb and veal offal. I was spoiled for choice and will definitely have to come check it out a few more times. They are open for lunch only, until 6, so bring your appetite and tuck in traveller.

The black risotto was excellent but perhaps too heavy on the ink. Prices are fair. However there is quite a hefty waiting time. I waited for around an hour. Parking and location are really not the best. Overall a 4/5 experience and is a must visit if you're in the area.
