Started as a humble eatery for construction workers, Bicko's owners elevate classic Croatian fare to an amazing quality, starting with ingredients (one of the few places where you can actually eat a cockerel (google though I was swearing it is what male chickens are called), amazing lamb and a bunch of extremely rare to find dishes made out of lamb and veal offal. I was spoiled for choice and will definitely have to come check it out a few more times. They are open for lunch only, until 6, so bring your appetite and tuck in traveller.
Food solid 8.5/10. The black risotto was excellent but perhaps too heavy on the ink. Prices are fair. However there is quite a hefty waiting time. I waited for around an hour. Parking and location are really not the best. Overall a 4/5 experience and is a must visit if you're in the area.
