We went to eat the menu, the menu is very extensive and rich and varied, they are not very fast. The menu cost me €11 Dietary restrictions: I can't eat gluten, the solution was to ask for recipes that don't contain flour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20
Hearty dishes and good value for money. The only thing I didn't like is that when you ask for fried octopus they bring you grills. Otherwise all right
The 500 gram chicken skewer was left with a chicken skewer that didn't reach 100 grams and on top of that I asked for it more cooked and they charged me an extra euro, as a joke I'll raise the ticket later Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Excellent value menu del día, with great choice . Friendly, efficient service, very good quality of food big portions.
We have been staying near the village and went in for lunch one day rather than go down to the coast. So some resturants like this are hidden gems, others are good honest peasant food. This is neither. The menus are quaintly hand written, but I think out of necessity. My macaroni was cold and came with cold tomato soup poured over it and fridge temperature meat. I asked for it to be warmed. It came back warmer not piping. I ate as little as I could to not cause offence. My partner had the white garlic soup which he was expecting to be cold. He was not expecting to dip the spoon in and it come out with a grape on it. More grapes followed along with melon and apple. The main course (meat is pork on the menu) was much better although swimming in olive oil.
We stopped for lunch during a looping drive through the gorgeous mountain park nearby, and we found a congenial spot with cold Alambras and decent food. We started with a squid appetizer that was pretty tender and tastefully done, then had other salads to round out our light lunch. The place was clean and friendly; not much to choose from in Zafarraya, so a relief to find Don Pepe!

Great menu of the day with well made homemade food, friendly service and clean place. highly recommended.
Homemade food very rich and economical
Good restaurant with a very homely meal at an incredibly cheap price. for an idea to do: summer / beer. whatever you want gazpacho salad (the huge jug of the photo) filling empanadas accompanied by a garrison of fries and sausaged mushrooms. flan accompanied by nata and syrup the dishes very abundant, good and all for the reason not to put it so five stars is for its location, it is in a mountain village where perhaps not all will want the road, although well steep, of curves.
Good food, fast and pleasant service.
