Let me start with the food, it was delicious and we waited not too much, however, you had to assemble your plate, for example if you choose prawns you will only have prawns, the garnishes will be separate. And so for everything. This made dinner more expensive.
Everything is good, but moderate. We ordered 2 different types of risotto and both seem to be warmed up frozen food. Not well cooked and something too salty. Our tomato salad was added only tomato with nothing. Nothing. Not even salt or vinegar! Most employees were friendly, but not all, and we also had strange interactions. Nice garden and atmosphere, and the prices were ok. But would not recommend.
Okay. The salads were a joke or a tourist trap... 30kn for a quarter cucumber. I have more nice mixed salads in Croatia for 15kn. Beautiful courtyard and cold beers. Food was average price and quality. Friendly staff, but slow service. It still seems to have a better time than the last reviews.
Nice terrace but everything else was below average. When choosing food keep in mind that everything here is frozen and shortly heated before serving. If it’s the kind of meal that won’t turn out good that way, don’t order it. Pašticada tasted fine but came cold while gnocchi that came with it were mostly warm and soft, with few that were hard to chew and obviously came from a different batch. Tuna salad is an unseasoned mix consisting of cabbage, lettuce and a few slices of tomato with canned tuna thrown on top of it. Most tables don’t have vinegar and oil available on the table and it isn’t olive oil or aceto balsamico so don’t expect anything fancy. At least I’m pretty sure it wasn’t frozen, it’s canned tuna after all. Even draught beer is russian roulette(one glass was stale few days old beer, the other one was fine. This is a restaurant for simple meals. French fries? Frozen then fried turns out just fine. Anything more than that is too much to expect from this place. P.S. Prices don’t reflect that. They’re as high as anywhere in Zadar.
Worst place we’ve visited in Zadar, they don’t put the weight of the product on the menu, so that when we ordered the ‘grilled so called lobsters’ which were exactly 5 shrimps with a sandy taste, we were left really surprised (not in a good way). This one dish costed us almost 19 euro. I don’t think that’s a reasonable price for 5 mediocre shrimps?
