After following the sign up to the restaurant, we were greeted by the most hospitable owner, Jesus. He sat with us and went over his menu and allowed us to basically create our perfect meal. The food is homestyle with fresh ingredients and a great presentation, too. Once we were done, we were given a tour of the establishment and Jesus' collection of interesting historical photos. It's clear that Rincon Tipico cares and honors not only its food, but every person who walks through the door. If you ever find yourself in Zacatecas, this is a must visit!

We had the o... read more A great place to visit and eat at while visiting Zacatecas, Zacatecas Mexico. The food is simple yet so tasty, truly a home cooked meal experience. We had the opportunity to go during the week during a non rush hour and met one of the owner, whom was very kind and great person to talk to. I would show a photo of our food, but we it was empty before I remembered to do it.

The place is very modest with a family feel. The owner greeted us and even gave my husband a beer that someone left since they don't serve alcohol. Food and service was good.

We saw the ratings on Yelp and TripAdvisor and we are glad we did. Though none of the reviews, including ours can really capture the essence, warmth and quality of the food. We had the warmest welcome from the owner and one of the best home cooked meals since our arrival in Mexico, over 6 months ago. Seek out this experience it is well worth it.
