It's like going t... read more This place was hard to find. You have a little sign and we missed it. I asked a local on the street and he showed me where the restaurant was. It's like going to someone's apartment. They were not too busy to get the romantic room. The owner was very nice, spoke a little English. The food was very good. Authentic, as Mom did earlier. The restaurant is old and could use a makeover, but it is charm is part of the experience. We recommend this place and we will go back next time in Zacatecas.

We saw the ratings on Yelp and TripAdvisor and we are glad we did. Though none of the reviews, including ours can really capture the essence, warmth and quality of the food. We had the warmest welcome from the owner and one of the best home cooked meals since our arrival in Mexico, over 6 months ago. Seek out this experience it is well worth it.
