Superb in every sight. in contrast to the other restaurants at the harbour this is really for gourmets. both the fresh of the fish and the preparation and sauces are excellent. parts are not as big as elsewhere in malta. So they take both a starter and a head and it will be still space for one of their equally delicious desserts.
Old school vibe, amazing eating and killer location. the prawn crudo was my first ever and I already want more! the mush and muddle in greener sauce were great. beautiful place for lunch.
Fantastic eating. we thought of a snack lunch and were blown away from the standard of dishes on the snack menu. some really unusual aromas and all very delicious. we will definitely come back when we are next in malta. they make a trip to eat here, they will not be disappointed.
Overall had a great experience at Tartarun. The waiters are friendly and they helped us choose the food. They also have gluten free options and also desserts. Highly reconmend for fish dishes.
