Alex Restaurant Bar - Yumbing

Honestly probably the best restaurant in Camiguin. I have tried most of the best and have been visiting this island since 2015, though this was my first visit back to Camiguin since 2020. As a foreigner that spends most of my time in Bali and Thailand this place just appealed incredibly. Place has great vibes, cool furniture but most importantly pretty great food and service. Presentation was also very good as well as speed of service probably fastest on the island! I had the Chicken Surol and Kinilaw, both were divine! Also I was able to pay fine with credit card, and not feel like I was from outer space when asking to pay with a card on this island.

On our first visit we enjoyed some nice cocktails. After seeing how beautifully presented the food came out, we decided to return another day to try it. And it didn’t disappoint, we ended up eating there for 2 meals on our trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best we’ve had in the Philippines. Very impressed!! Great place. Warm ambiance makes up the quiet island of camiguin. Food was good. The flavor of the sauce from what we ordered was really present. We ordered a plated meal which is perfect for a group of 2. There is a variety of food to choose from but the highlight or most of the dishes are filipino cuisine. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The resto is not beachfront. But the lightings and alfresco style are cozy and make you feel good while waiying for your order to be served. You can also request to make a dish for a vegetarian.

Good restaurant, Food being presented on nice plates. We choosed the volcanic seafoods and lechon pakbet, and it was delicious. Waitress was nice and quick. Surely one of the better restaurants in the area.
