The Mignon filet was delicious and perfectly cooked when we first visited it. The Queen died too! We decided after 4 days because of our good experience... But the Filet Mignon was not as good as it was served.. The place is so unique! But the food experience was our reason to go there... It could be a 5, but with our repetition experience we question the consistency of this consolidation. View all feedback.
What María Cuco doesn't like about Casa Roca Inn Escape From Ordinary:
We had a calm dinner in Casa Roca Inn. As some reviews already said, the place is a bit deteriorated. The food was fine. We ate grilled fish, that was awesome and drink mango shake (120php) bit overpriced. Quite an average place with nothing remarkable beyond the location. Ohh yes, service was very nice ! Nice food and great views. Thank you. Casa Roggen Inn. Perfect place to spend a nice afternoon to have food and drinks. Price is appropriate for the quality and quantity of food offered. When you go in the daytime, sea view and a quiet breeze. Also the icy fruit tea, homemade with real fruits for only 80P! Come on.
We went for dinner at the recommendation of our resort. Low on stock no kinilaw or beer tonight, which was okay. There were no other guests when we arrived. We ordered wings and fruit shake to start, which arrived after 20 minutes. Shake seemed to be half ice cubes and a half a can of mango juice. The garnish of mango slice was nice at least. Chicken was okay but strangely sweet for Buffalo, which should only be vinegar pepper sauce and margarine. The real issue was the mains. One other group of two arrived 15 minutes after the wings arrived and they were served and nearly done eating by the time our mains got sent. It was an hour to get a piece of fish, a few shrimp, and four crabs, and both had the same simple sides of reheated mixed veg and rice. Marlin and shrimp were both very tough and overcooked. Crabs had turned to mush. Nothing was fresh and nothing was seasoned. Seriously puzzling as the reviews look good and our resort recommended it, but you'd be far better off driving up to Jollibee on this night.
My go to restaurant in the island!! Just a little bit far from my home but i love the food and the ambiance of the place! The food is really authentic and super worth it for the price! Perfect time to be here is during sunset!! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 3
Great selection of western foods Filipino classics. Defo worth the visit. What a romantic setting. Overlooking the ocean, yet nice and shady, cute fish pond with clean garden area. Better Late Than Never! Although it's a belated review, I couldn't resist sharing my wonderful experience at Casa Roca Inn from a few years ago. It truly stands out as one of the best stays during my trip to Camiguin. The ambiance of the place added a special touch to my visit, and as a sunset enthusiast, I was captivated by the stunning sunset views showcased in the photos shared by other guests. The food was delicious, and the service provided was top-notch. The location, although slightly hidden, offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. Overall, I can't help but express my love for Casa Roca Inn. If you're looking for a tranquil and secluded getaway, this place is an absolute gem! Rooms: ROOMS ARE THE BEST! Safety: Camiguin in general is safe. People here are friendly and simple. The place is more safer that you wont worry at all! Food drinks: I had my breakfast during my stay at Casa Roca Inn. The food are the best!
