Patrons at this local seafood restaurant have reported a blend of experiences, ranging from outstanding flavors to shocking service shortcomings. While some rave about the fish and chips, citing large portions and tasty tartar sauce, others lament over burnt dishes and inattentive staff. Pricing is seen as fair, yet side items like coleslaw have drawn criticism for their quality. The ambiance, described as outdated, adds to the mixed feelings. Despite the evident potential for culinary success, improvements in service and cleanliness are needed to enhance the overall diner experience. A visit may delight or dismay—caution advised.

The food was outstanding and served promptly, although it was mainly deep-fried. This was a delightful surprise for us, particularly since we are from the West Coast, where we appreciate similar dishes. View all feedback.
What Brenda Moss dislikes about Mr Fish Fish Chips:
The fish and shrimp have always been REALLY good, but the last time I ordered, it just wasn't as good as normal. It made me wonder if ownership had changed hands. I tried something different and ordered fish tacos. Who uses corn tortillas?? They would be much better with flour tortillas, in my opinion. It would at least be nice if they offered us a choice. They have great fish tacos using cod. Several fish and seafood dishes to choose from. It's a small cosy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is made to order so there is a wait time which is longer in the winter but worth it. It can get very crowded in the winter with close seating.
The fish inside the fish tacos is not the same fish as they use in the fish dinner. It is rubbery in texture and doesn't flake apart. Next, the PRICE. Too high. Two fish shrimp dinners and two drinks will come close to $40. That's a lot for a place where you order at the counter and get your own drink. Lastly, the coleslaw has apples in it. Just a matter of preference I guess, but I didn't like it. I'd give it between 3 and 4 stars
The food was great!! My husband got the fish and shrimp, it was lightly breaded and fried to perfection. I got 3 tacos:shrimp fish tacos were my fav.
