My only problem with this visit was the music being played, at the time I tried to order, was so loud that I could not hear the order taker's questions and he w... read more My only problem with this visit was the music being played, at the time I tried to order, was so loud that I could not hear the order taker's questions and he was having trouble hearing me. As I waited for my to go order to be prepared, the volume was lowered, so maybe someone in charge woke up and realized how bad it was. One of my pet peeves is restaurants that have music so loud that patrons can't carry on a conversation while they have their meals. If I want to hear loud music, I'll go to a concert or sit in my truck and blast the radio. If I go to a restaurant, even a burger joint, I'd like to be able to enjoy my meal and have a normal conversation at my table.

After driving for 10 hours I checked into the hotel and they referred me to Tasty's for dinner. I'm very glad they did. Big Mike, back in the kitchen, cooked up... read more After driving for 10 hours I checked into the hotel and they referred me to Tasty's for dinner. I'm very glad they did. Big Mike, back in the kitchen, cooked up one heck of a great burger. I also had some Parmesan covered french fries which I had neverhad that before. Also, very very good. Everyone in the store was polite, we had great conversation and I went back to my hotelroom with a full belly. If you want a really good burger cooked by human people, I can recommend Tasty's.

It used to be really, really good... read more My family has been regular customers of this location since they opened, probably 3 times per month, even during the pandemic. It used to be really, really good. Over the last year or so, the food has went downhill, menu options have been removed (theyused to have a great salad and spicy chicken sandwich), prices have increased (to the point it just isn?t worth it), and theservice has steadily declined. Tonight I couldn?t tell if the young man taking our order was getting an attitude with my wife,or if he really didn?t know what she was asking about (something simple she has gotten before here). Then I watched the cookspreparing the food eating as they cooked while we were ordering (I?m not that guy but I didn?t think it was appropriate whilecooking). The food was so-so at best tonight, as it has been the last few times we?ve been there for dinner. Lunch does seemto be better, as we go there some at work. I know it?s tough to keep employees-maybe it is a management issue? We?ll probablystill go to the one on the island, or the one in Yulee, as they seem to still be ok. Can?t say that we will be back to this onefor a while unless we?re with others who want to go.
