Was Amparo Nieto at Gecko Cafe a mag?
we ate here in our last night and had a nice experience. I had the tortiglioni and mama had the peri peri chicken sliders, we also had a side of the pecorino chips with tuffle mayo and all food was delicious and a good size....Staff were attentive, service was fast and the prices were with a TGIs/Groove train back in melbs. alcohol is expensive, but to expect. we recommend View all feedback.

We booked as requested having viewed the menu the day before. The menu is limited which I get however the food failed to live up to our expectations. We both order the Scotch fillet medium, my wife's was more rare than medium, the meal arrived on a slate type plate that wasn't heated. The meat was chewy the mash and veggies lukewarm. The staff were welcoming, attentive and enjoyed a bit of a laugh with us. The food was very tasty and it's a lovely ambience
We were welcomed even though we were only having the free drink that was offered by Dessert Gardens as an Accor member Keep up the great work
We had dinner here one night and they told us earlier no need to book so when we arrived they were quite busy so when we sat we ordered quickly and it took one and a half hours to get our dinner we were just...about to tell them not to worry as it was getting late. and unfortunately when we got our meals they were very average. my husband had the steak which was just the steak a very small bowl of salsa that didnt look fresh and a not very nice gravy. and i had a noodle dish that was like a packet sauce . so the two dishes and a couple of drinks each cost around which would have been ok if food was something special which it wasnt
This was the only restaurant available at Desert Gardens at the time of our stay so it was very busy with queues with only member of staff checking groups and seeing them out. Staff were friendly and the food was fine.
We had dinner one night here and thought it was good. We would come back again for another meal. We did come late and had to wait 10 minutes but everything here is always busy.
