Ayers Wok - YULARA
Ayers Wok
Description
Nestled in the heart of Central Australia, Ayers Wok offers a mixed dining experience that reflects the challenges of isolation. While some guests celebrate its affordable options and accommodating service, particularly for vegetarian and vegan patrons, others lament the quality of the food, likening it to frozen and flavorless meals. The Pad Thai has drawn both praise and scorn, embodying the divisive opinions on the menu. Though a few diners find hidden gems among the offerings, the inconsistent food quality raises concerns about longevity, leaving visitors to weigh convenience against culinary expectations. Proceed with caution!.

Had to go because we were craving Asian. Wrong buzzer , wrong order overworked single staff. Absolute time waste. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
The service was quick, food was good and the price was decent. Compared with all other places where everything is very expensive Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Pad Thai
By far the worst gzoya I've ever had. Were literally deep fried almost cold. Pad Thai was not as bad but still the worst I've had by some margin. Food at Geckos vastly nicer roughly the same cost. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
72.00 for what was nothing but frozen veggies and tasteless meal. Anyone who says if you want authentic Asian food shouldn’t be eating in Uluṟu is kidding themselves. If I pay for a meal I expect what I pay for nothing more nothing less. This food was terrible, it had absolutely no taste whatsoever, not even a pinch of salt, it was the most lifeless Asian meal I’ve ever tasted. Ayer’s Wok should be ashamed of themselves for putting out meals that are certainly not worth the TOP they are charging!! Do yourself a favour and don’t eat here!! As a matter of fact the poor quality of food served here is common knowledge when you speak to the other shops in the area!! None of the locals eat this rubbish!!
