I have never been so offended by employees and management. I do not recommend bothering the employees, as you will be given the guilt trip of your life. Apparently, they aren't aware or just don't care that people who come in can actually hear their snideremarks and comments. Wait until your customers leave next time before bashing their whole existence and livelihood.
