Wilkies Cafe truly sets itself apart with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior boasts a rustic, industrial vibe, and I absolutely adored the large, real ferns – great job to whoever maintains those! Now, onto the food. It was delicious and well worth the price. I tried the French Toast made from banana bread, which surprisingly wasn’t overly sweet, and I polished it off quickly. My partner had the eggs Benedict, which looked fantastic, though I didn’t get to try any. He really enjoyed it too! As for the coffee, it was just alright. I would definitely rate the food higher than the coffee, especially considering the prices. Overall, it's a lovely spot to stop by for a meal, cake, and a hot drink while in Young.

Absolutely perfect! The food, coffee, prices, and service couldn't be better. We stopped here for lunch during our road trip to Victoria, and the bao buns and sushi were the best I've ever had. This café is truly a hidden gem and well worth the visit.
