Wilkies Cafe truly sets itself apart with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior boasts a rustic, industrial vibe, and I absolutely adored the large, real ferns – great job to whoever maintains those! Now, onto the food. It was delicious and well worth the price. I tried the French Toast made from banana bread, which surprisingly wasn’t overly sweet, and I polished it off quickly. My partner had the eggs Benedict, which looked fantastic, though I didn’t get to try any. He really enjoyed it too! As for the coffee, it was just alright. I would definitely rate the food higher than the coffee, especially considering the prices. Overall, it's a lovely spot to stop by for a meal, cake, and a hot drink while in Young.
This restaurant is a charming spot for breakfast. It has a cozy atmosphere, excellent coffee, and delicious food. It's a rare find in Young to have outdoor seating, making it dog-friendly as well.
Best coffee food so far on our road trip. Will definitely recommend delicious!!
