Short pastry rolled ver... read more Had the chicken Vol au vent. Pleasant, with lovely flaky pastry. The highlight for me was the tiny cherry pie with a star pastry on top. Short pastry rolled very thin, so the cherries were the highlight rather than a large chunk of pastry. Really lovely. Will be returning! Recommend having your meal upstairs…There’s a surprisingly elegant ‘dining room’, heritage style.
